Really comfortable stay, absolutely brilliant rooms!
Would love to go back, nothing to complain about. Clean facilities, beautiful location. Clean bathroom with a bath. Lake view from the windows. Setting very close to the river rolling past and the local pub. Btw, located to a closest shop👍

As friends who enjoy going out at night, we loved the peaceful and idyllic location of this retreat. the beautiful scenery, with the river just steps away from our door, was truly breathtaking. the option to light a fire and sit by it was a lovely way to reflect and unwind. We also appreciated the attentive and helpful response we received, despite not seeing any staff during our time there.
Felt so much at home, no complaints whatsoever.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was delightful with cozy touches like a fire pit and DVD player. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds, horses, a pond, and a magical river right outside. The staff, although not physically present, were attentive, helpful, and made sure everything was smooth and well-managed.
Breakfast choices could have been more diverse and varied.

loved our recent stay in taunton! riverside retreat exceeded our expectations during our golf trip. the peaceful and idyllic location, along with the sound of the river just outside our door, made it the perfect escape. the open fire for bbq and reflection was a great touch. wish we had stayed longer!

The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the room with its cozy open fire and DVD player. The staff were attentive and helpful, providing clear instructions and promptly responding to any inquiries. The cleanliness of the property was top-notch, with everything spotlessly clean and well maintained. We also appreciated the proximity of the hotel to the river, allowing us to enjoy the relaxing sound of the water throughout our stay.

The grounds are mind-blowingly beautiful, with dreamy scenery including horses, a stunning pond, swans, and a jaw-dropping river at the foot of the garden. The cleanliness and maintenance of the property were exceptional, and the fire pit and DVD player in the room added a super cozy touch. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, with the peaceful burble of the river creating a tranquil atmosphere. The helpfulness of the staff, despite not seeing them much, was excellent, with attentive and helpful responses to any queries. this was a perfect place to escape from the world and I wish I had stayed for another night. Would definitely go back.

The location of this retreat is absolutely mind-blowing! The idyllic scenery and the river just 10m from the door create a jaw-dropping experience. It's the perfect place to escape from the world and unwind. The peacefulness of the surroundings is simply amazing. I loved being able to have a BBQ over the open fire and the sound of the river burbling as I fell asleep and woke up was pure bliss. The room was brilliant, spotlessly clean, and the instructions provided were clear. The staff, although I didn't see them in person, were attentive and helpful, responding promptly to my phone call. this place offers a super peaceful and reflective escape, and I can't wait to go back for a longer stay!

I needed time away from the world and this was a perfect place for that. The response from the staff was attentive and helpful, despite not seeing them in person. Perfect isolation! The room is brilliant, with a lovely fireplace for reflection. The instructions were clear, and the peaceful location allowed for a much-needed escape. The beautiful scenery and proximity to the river made it even better. an exceptional experience.

My stay at Riverside Retreat was absolutely delightful. The peacefulness and isolation of the location provided the perfect escape from the world. The room was brilliant, and I particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire and reflecting on the day. The instructions were clear, although I did get a bit lost on the way in. The shower was fine, and although the compostable loo may unsettle some, there is a flushable one nearby. The surroundings were beautiful, with the river just a few steps away. Falling asleep and waking up to the gentle sound of the river was simply amazing. The communication and access were smooth, and the grounds were well-maintained and charming. The fire pit and DVD player in the room added cozy touches to my stay.
